Enrollment is Limited!
This intense, high quality program consists of SIX, 6-week online courses created by industry experts. The comprehensive program of study is grounded in the key knowledge and skills central to the sound planning, building and maintaining of learner-centered environments.
The entire program of study centers on the student, beginning with a course about educational theory and pedagogy. Each of the remaining courses addresses one component of a successful planning process resulting in learner-centered schools. Each course is also tied to the Core Competencies of the
Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP).
Students can access the online program 24/7 and
nothing is delivered in real-time. Weekly assignments and discussion boards are required. Participants will spend approximately 9-12 hours per week on the course. There are group projects with other students in the program, intended to simulate the real-life process of a capital project. Each module culminates in a signature project that demonstrates the students knowledge and skills developed during the 6 weeks. Graduates of the Advance Academy program who complete all 6 modules with at least an 80% are eligible for the ALEP designation.

Community Little
I entered the program as neither an educator or an architect but rather someone who has spent the better part of her professional and personal life at the intersection of both. Professionally, I have spent nearly two decades specializing in the marketing and business development of educational design. Personally, I was raised by an architect and an educator. With that context in mind, I entered the program not entirely sure what to expect, but the benefits and value I have received from going through the Advanced Academy and now as an ALEP, are nothing but extraordinary.
