Call for Speakers
The Southeast Region conference committee is now accepting submissions for speaking engagements for the in person conference April 22-24, 2024 in Greensboro, NC.
All sessions are 60 minutes in length and rooms will be set half theater/half classroom style. NO MORE THAN 3 SPEAKERS PER SESSION.
United By Design: Bridging States for Better Learning Environments
Join us at the 2024 North Carolina / Southeast Region Conference at the beautiful Grandover Resort & Spa in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our conference theme this year is “United By Design: Bridging States for Better Learning Environments”. You will discover that by uniting through design and construction, we can create educational spaces that transcend state lines and make a lasting impact on students and communities. We will blend the perspectives from the Chapters within the Southeast region to foster innovation, and inclusivity, enriching the educational experience for all students.
In today’s rapidly changing educational learning landscape, the need for innovative, adaptable, and inspiring learning environments has never been greater. We seek to empower attendees with the knowledge and tools to revolutionize education spaces, fostering creativity, engagement and achievement for students of all ages.
All speakers must register for the conference. A discount of $75 will be offered to selected speakers for
full conference registrations. No compensation will be provided for speaking, expenses, travel, or lodging.
Primary preference will be given to:
- Proposals that include students, teachers, or administrators.
- Relate to the conference theme.
- Offer a fresh perspective.
- Are relevant and of interest.
- Have measurable and achievable learning objectives.

Speakers notified on/about: January 30, 2024

Please note the sessions are to be educational in nature. Sales, product, or marketing presentations will not be accepted.
PRESENTATIONS: Presentations for posting to the website for attendees are due 2 weeks prior to the event in a PDF format totaling no more than 10 MG. Anything received after the deadline will be posted as quickly as possible post event.
