1.0 LU*
Introduction: Mary Beth Branham
Sponsored by: LS3P
Speakers:
Ms. Martha Jones,
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Mr. Kevin Alberse,
Richland School District Two
Richland School District Two is creating a new and different experience in public education that is designed to fill the demand for rapidly changing job needs in the Midlands and the state of South Carolina. The Richland Two Institute of Innovation will provide opportunities for students from across the district to be fully immersed in professional culture. Using the design of the R2i2 building as just one of the many teaching tools available to instructors, students will work hand-in-hand with mentors in a facility that will support entrepreneurial opportunities and will provide space for students and businesses to work together on startup ideas or workplace problem solving. The R2i2 concept is built around the continued growth of business partnerships that support curriculum design and share expertise with all Richland Two students. We see Endless Possibilities.
