Raleigh Hills Elementary School

Raleigh Hills Elementary School is a new construction project for Beaverton School District, built as part of their 2022 bond. The design embraces the future while honoring the community’s history and urban context. The design acknowledges the desire to have a small school feel within a larger student population by organizing into smaller pods for learning. Each “house” contains a flex commons that is customizable by students to celebrate the unique needs of their cluster, with public areas and support spaces organized along the connections.

The schools is approximately 97,000 sf, designed for about 750 students in grades PreK through 5th. It includes all new site circulation, right-of-way improvements, and play areas. The existing little league ballfield and sponsored track were protected during construction and will continue to be a gathering space for the community.
