This year, riders can opt-in to support the
Merle Kirkley Scholarship on the individual level. When you sign in, select your length of ride, and select the scholarship contribution amount from $0 to $$. The funds will be pooled to support students when the Merle Kirkley Scholarship opens for applicants through the Washington Chapter.

Join the fourth annual
A4LE Washington Chapter Conference Biking Tour in Tacoma/Puyallup on Tuesday, May 13, meet at 12:00 PM, roll at 12:15 PM. All abilities and experience levels are welcome. Choose the distance along the
Foothills Trail that fits you best:
- rolling along the river for a 15-mile easy out and back, turning back at Orting;
- rolling further along the river for a 20-mile out and back, and turning back at the Foothills Trail bridge at the Carbon River;
- A longer 33-mile river out and back, turning back at the Foothills Bridge at South Prairie Creek.
Each ride begins and ends at
Farm 12 restaurant. Park in the gravel apron along the south side of 8th Ave. SE. The ride begins with all riders rolling together, the shorter routes turn back sooner. Each ride will have a ride leader ensuring we stay together as a group.
After the rides, we will share stories and enjoy a well-earned lunch at
Farm 12:

Bring your own bike and gear, e-bikes are welcome. Rentals are available at
Wheel Fun Rentals.
The route this year is out-and-back along the Foothills Trail. Participants may choose any distance. There will be ride leaders for ~15 mile, ~20 mile, and ~33 mile distances.

All routes could be shortened or lengthened depending on the weather and how folks feel. We expect a calm sunny day on ride-day!
